Launching Legendary Stratos version of Escape Deathrace 2182 on Kickstarter: 14th of May!

Hello to all!

We are so excited to announce that our Legendary Stratos version of Escape Deathrace 2182 will be launching on Kickstarter May 14th!

Our Legendary Stratos edition will come in a box, instead of a mint tin, and it will include upgraded components, like 6 pre-painted cars, road tiles, an updated rulebook and more!

 

The year is 2182. You and your fellow Legendary Stratos League stunt drivers have been abducted by the alien Twisted foOk. A rescue helicopter is headed to the portal home, but only one of you can escape. Will it be you?

Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro” LS Edition is a tile placing, race car themed, dungeon crawl board game for 1 to 4 players set in the cyber-tech, 22nd century.
Designed by Jesse Conger (Escape Deathrace games, Legendary Stratos League comic book series) with art from Alex Solano & Andrew Palacios, this ‘road builder, winner take all’ game offers unique play in an innovative setting in 10 minutes per player.

How to play
Strategically Place Road Tiles
Draw and place road tiles to create your path to victory. Or to place hazards and treacherous terrain to block your opponents’ progress!

Play Weapon Drops and Power Cards
Deploy landmines, smoke bombs, gunfire, and fire to defeat all who dare to stand in your way!

Battle-It-Out Against Bosses and other Players
Defeat all three bosses and any other players left standing and make it to the rescue helicopter coming through the portal! There’s only room for one car!

ESCAPE DEATHRACE 2182 “MICRO” LEGENDARY STRATOS EDITION!

It’s that time again! We just got back to normal after last week’s Strategicon convention in Los Angeles.
We always have a blast showcasing our first title, Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro”! Some people love super small games that they can easily take anywhere, while others love car combat games. It’s a match made in heaven when they are a fan of both!

We have a new Play Mat!
Measuring in at approx. 13″x13″, this play mat has a 7×7 grid that keeps the Road Tiles in an organized area.
We only printed 100 of these beauties, so grab one while supplies last!
(this will also be featured in our LS edition game as a fold out game board)

Kickstarter you say?
That’s right! We are coming back to Kickstarter (FINALLY, OMG!) this May for “Micro May”.
We can’t wait to bring our Legendary Stratos edition (LS) of Escape Deathrace 2182 to the world!
Same micro core game. New small box design. New components like pre-painted race cars, dice, game board and more.

Did someone say “comic books”?
YES! This summer we will be running another Kickstarter campaign! If you want to dive deeper into the world of Escape Deathrace 2182, we are launching volumes 1-3 of the series. After that, 4-6. Then 7-10!

Volume 1 will feature our newest character, Cammy Zooka. A new recruit to the Legendary Stratos League, she’s determined to make an impact and get revenge on the Kingpin clan that killed her parents! It’s gonna be wild!

GoodDays Games is coming to Strategicon!!

Hello Gamers!,

Here is your news for the month of June. There are some projects coming down the pipeline and though we aren’t exactly ready to talk about them, I can say it is worth sticking around to find out. Don’t forget to join our instagram as well as being signed up for this newsletter to be up to date with future projects. For those of you wanting to try Deathrace, we intend to demo our game at our local game store (well, at least local to one of us).

Be on the lookout for when we will come out to give Deathrace a try.

Speaking of which, we are proud to announce that you can purchase our flagship game, Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro”, on the website. Just click the Buy Now button to add to your cart and checkout. San Diego Comic Con is this week but unfortunately at a digital capacity. Speaking of conventions, it seems that Strategicon is still full steam ahead (as of typing this newsletter) and we are eager to meet you all there.

It is set to be open Labor Day weekend from September 3 to September 6. Strategicon is a board gaming convention based in the Hilton at LAX. It features dozens of vendors, on demand RPG’s, party games, demos of new games, and even tutorials of games already in existence. We are very excited to go and hope to show you what we’ve been cooking up.
