Launching Legendary Stratos version of Escape Deathrace 2182 on Kickstarter: 14th of May!

Hello to all!

We are so excited to announce that our Legendary Stratos version of Escape Deathrace 2182 will be launching on Kickstarter May 14th!

Our Legendary Stratos edition will come in a box, instead of a mint tin, and it will include upgraded components, like 6 pre-painted cars, road tiles, an updated rulebook and more!

 

The year is 2182. You and your fellow Legendary Stratos League stunt drivers have been abducted by the alien Twisted foOk. A rescue helicopter is headed to the portal home, but only one of you can escape. Will it be you?

Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro” LS Edition is a tile placing, race car themed, dungeon crawl board game for 1 to 4 players set in the cyber-tech, 22nd century.
Designed by Jesse Conger (Escape Deathrace games, Legendary Stratos League comic book series) with art from Alex Solano & Andrew Palacios, this ‘road builder, winner take all’ game offers unique play in an innovative setting in 10 minutes per player.

How to play
Strategically Place Road Tiles
Draw and place road tiles to create your path to victory. Or to place hazards and treacherous terrain to block your opponents’ progress!

Play Weapon Drops and Power Cards
Deploy landmines, smoke bombs, gunfire, and fire to defeat all who dare to stand in your way!

Battle-It-Out Against Bosses and other Players
Defeat all three bosses and any other players left standing and make it to the rescue helicopter coming through the portal! There’s only room for one car!

CONVENTIONS!

We’ve exhibited at a few cons over the past 2 years! Strategicon at the Hilton LAX has been our local go-to for demoing the “Micro” game and meeting great people! We will be at there Labor Day 2023, so don’t miss us if you’re in the area!
We also had the honor to demo at Dice Tower West 2022 in Las Vegas (VEGAS BABY!). I would love to get back in their exhibitor roster, but there’s nothing set in stone yet.

We have a few announcements to share here at GoodDays Games for the rest of 2022.

Gamex @ Stategicon Convention May 27th – 30th

It’s hard to believe, we are going to our 4th convention is less than 12 months! We will be out there sharing (and selling) our first game, Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro”, giving away rare Promo Cards and Road Tiles, racing cars down the rainbow road, and just having fun! Stop in and say hello!

COMING SOON: Escape Deathrace 2182 “i.s. edition”
This updated edition of “Micro” will include the same great content as the original, but will also feature bonus content that simply could not fit in the micro mint tin!Like the micro edition, the i.s. edition will be a limited release while we connect with distributors and board game shops across the US.

i.s. stands for interstate!

  • 6 pre-painted Stratos car models (1 for each players)
  • 6 different colored D4’s to replace the D4 Draw Deck
  • New Power Cards
  • New Event Cards
  • Small box design will replace the mint tin packaging

The exact details are still being worked out, but its safe to say that GoodDays Games will be an Exhibitor at SHUX! We look forward to sharing our games with new faces and having a blast at this convention!

GoodDays Games is coming to Strategicon!!

Hello Gamers!,

Here is your news for the month of June. There are some projects coming down the pipeline and though we aren’t exactly ready to talk about them, I can say it is worth sticking around to find out. Don’t forget to join our instagram as well as being signed up for this newsletter to be up to date with future projects. For those of you wanting to try Deathrace, we intend to demo our game at our local game store (well, at least local to one of us).

Be on the lookout for when we will come out to give Deathrace a try.

Speaking of which, we are proud to announce that you can purchase our flagship game, Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro”, on the website. Just click the Buy Now button to add to your cart and checkout. San Diego Comic Con is this week but unfortunately at a digital capacity. Speaking of conventions, it seems that Strategicon is still full steam ahead (as of typing this newsletter) and we are eager to meet you all there.

It is set to be open Labor Day weekend from September 3 to September 6. Strategicon is a board gaming convention based in the Hilton at LAX. It features dozens of vendors, on demand RPG’s, party games, demos of new games, and even tutorials of games already in existence. We are very excited to go and hope to show you what we’ve been cooking up.

2019 Update: Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro” & Beyond!

Hi everyone!

I would like to give you a quick rundown as to what’s been happening here at GoodDays Games. For over 5 years -in my free time- I’ve been working on a board game called Escape Deathrace 2182. This is the full scale version of the Mirco edition -Escape Deathrace 2182 “Micro”- that will be coming out 2019-2020.

The art is still not in its final form so it is still too soon to project a good release season.

I will keep you updated! The Micro edition grew legs of its own (or took off with some serious Nitro-Nos!) and unexpectedly became the first game finished by us. In the coming weeks I will be getting costs for mass production/manufacturing.

This will give me the courage to start a KickStarter Campaign.

Also, please stay tuned as I get more comfortable with the new website. There are more games in the works to be announced!
